The Mayor is the highest elected official in Savannah, Georgia. Since its incorporation in 1789, the town has had 64 mayors.〔Savannah Morning News〕 Savannah is a city located in the state of Georgia, United States. It is the largest city in and county seat of Chatham County. Established in 1733, Savannah was the first colonial and state capital of Georgia.
